Haynes, Founder and President of The Faith Based Counselor Training Institute and Crisis Chaplaincy Care has been asked to come to China and train health care workers, first responders, mental health and clergy volunteers on the Spiritual Care Component of Crisis Intervention. Dr. Robert Yeung, a graduate of FBCTI, has set up trainings with church leaders in Hong Kong and crisis intervention seminars with Chinese Government Officials in Cheung Du. Dr.Yeung & Dr. Haynes with Chinese Volunteers and Administrative Staff Traumatology, Victimology, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, Dealing with Grief and Loss, the Grief Process, Child Trauma and other extremely vital concepts are in great need due to the powerful 7.8 earthquake. The death toll is expected to surpass 80,000 and there are over 1 million people homeless and living in tents and makeshift villages.
